Who is Octopus on ‘The Masked Singer’?

With the Octopus‘s height, it was no surprise that he had to be a basketball player. Still, there was a major clue pointing to Los Angeles Lakers player Dwight Howard — how many tentacles an octopus has. Although Dwight’s current jersey number is 39, it was 8 when he played for the Atlanta Hawks. But the reason why he chose that number is very important to him. Not only is his birthday Dec. 8, but he is also his mother’s eighth child. Though the first seven died, Dwight was the eighth and survived.

Who is Mother Nature on ‘The Masked Singer’?

Mother Nature was sent packing on the Sept. 22 premiere as well, but her identity wasn’t revealed until the second part of the two-night premiere.
Mother Nature was unmasked as superstar Vivica A. Fox. Vivica’s Wayne Brady clue was a nod to his Masked Singer costume — the Fox. Plus, Vivica has said in interviews that not having children is one of her biggest regrets in life, though according to her clue package, it seems she’s come to terms with it.

Who is Pufferfish on ‘The Masked Singer’?

Shocking everyone, the Pufferfish was eliminated on the Sept. 23 episode and unmasked as R&B legend Toni Braxton. If you didn’t recognize her voice, it could be because she was so worried about COVID-19, she wore a mask under her mask.

Who is Dalmatian on ‘The Masked Singer’?

Another musical celeb gone too soon! Tyga was revealed as the Dalmatian on the Sept. 29 episode of Season 6. His many sports-related clues had fans thinking he was sure to be an athlete, but he was a rapper instead. The biggest clue was from producers, who said someone this season would have a Kardashian connection. Tyga previously dated Kylie Jenner.

Who is Baby on ‘The Masked Singer’?

Comedian Larry the Cable Guy was unmasked as the Baby in the Oct. 6 episode of Season 6, surprising the judging panel, but not his fans, who called this reveal a while ago. The biggest clues included the mention of a “Baby Rat Pack” (the Blue Collar Comedy Tour), the multiple car references (Mater in the Cars franchise), and the fact that the Baby once replaced Arnold Schwarzenegger (Larry took over Arnold’s role for the Jingle All the Way sequel).

Who is Cupcake on ‘The Masked Singer’?

In the Oct. 13 episode, the Cupcake was revealed to be the eldest member of the Pointer Sisters, Ruth Pointer. The Cupcake had plenty of clues that pointed toward her identity, including the compass pointing north and the fact that she says that she’s not used to going solo, but most Pointer Sisters fans knew it was her from her iconic voice alone.

Who is Hamster on ‘The Masked Singer’?

On Oct. 20, it was revealed that actor and comedian Rob Schneider was behind the Hamster mask! The Hamster’s early clues that he got famous overnight and got his start by working in a “huge city” with his “best pals” pointed toward Rob’s background on Saturday Night Live. Another clue was the sheer number of Razzie Award nominations the Masked Singers of this season have between them. Out of the 12 reported Razzie nods, Rob holds seven. And if you still weren’t convinced it was him, the image of Alcatraz was a nod to Rob’s San Francisco upbringing.

Who is Beach Ball on ‘The Masked Singer’?

The Beach Ball didn’t fare too well on The Masked Singer. After their debut performance of Miley Cyrus’s “Party in the USA,” the Beach Ball was revealed to be a group costume — just as fans expected. What they hadn’t expected was for former Toddlers & Tiaras and Here Comes Honey Boo stars June Shannon, better known as Mama June, and Alana Thompson, aka Honey Boo Boo, to be behind the mask.

Who is Jester on ‘The Masked Singer’?

Fans were all but certain that the Jester was the iconic Alice Cooper, but they picked the wrong rock legend. On Nov. 10, the Jester was revealed to be Sex Pistols singer John Lydon, better known as Johnny Rotten. So why was the legendary punk rocker booted off the show? Could be because he strangely sang Soggy Bottom Boys’ “I Am a Man of Constant Sorrow” and it didn’t do him any favors.

Who is Pepper on ‘The Masked Singer’?

The Pepper was also unmasked on Nov. 10. Although Ken Jeong used the Take It Off Buzzer to guess Sara Bareilles, he picked the wrong pop star. The Pepper was revealed to be Natasha Bedingfield, and her longtime fans (Nicole Scherzinger included) were able to guess it was her by her iconic voice.

Who is Mallard on ‘The Masked Singer’?

It makes perfect (albeit dark) sense that Duck Dynasty star Willie Robertson was revealed as the Mallard in the Nov. 17 episode. The famed duck hunter told Entertainment Weekly after the reveal, “I felt like I was hiding in plain sight with that thing on.”

Who is Caterpillar on ‘The Masked Singer’?

Also revealed in the Nov. 17 episode was Queer Eye star Bobby Berk as the Caterpillar. His costume may not have been quite as obvious as the Mallard’s, but his clue about the fact that Taylor Swift might know him was a hint toward his identity as Bobby, who used to sing in Christian rock bands, appeared in Taylor’s “You Need to Calm Down” music video. However, it might have been the Taylor clue that made judge Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg use her Take It Off Buzzer to guess Jake Gyllenhaal. Sorry, Jenny, wrong Taylor connection!

Who is Skunk on ‘The Masked Singer’?

In the final Group A showdown of Season 6 on Dec. 1, the Bull and the Skunk went head-to-head, but only one could come out on top. While the Bull advanced on to the finale, the Skunk was revealed to be songstress Faith Evans. Hints to her identity included a figure dressed as Biggie Smalls (Faith’s first husband), that the Skunk took an extended break (Faith’s last album was 2017), and a train to Seoul (aka Soul Train, where she won a lifetime achievement award in 2018).

Who is Bull on ‘The Masked Singer’?

The Bull has one of the most elaborate costumes of the season, and fans are eager to find out who is beneath the mask.
The Season 6 star grew up “surrounded by cows” in a small town, but he had big dreams to travel the world and find his “destiny.” His next clues indicated that he is a former professional baseball player.

Before the Season 6 premiere, we got to watch a preview performance of Queen of Hearts singing “La Vie En Rose” — and they did an incredible job! The performance already has some people thinking the Queen of Hearts mask might be hiding Lady Gaga, Audra McDonald, Celine Dion, or possibly Grace Jones.
