Verzuz typically announces upcoming battles roughly one week ahead of when they are scheduled to take place, but they sometimes announce upcoming themes ahead of time. They announced a few months ago that there would be two rounds of Rematches coming up, but we didn’t know who the Rematches would feature until May 25, 2021, when the Rematch between Swizz Beatz and Timbaland was announced. (Still no word yet on who will be featured in the second Rematch, though.)
The next confirmed Verzuz battle will take place on Oct. 17, 2021 and will be between Big Daddy Kane and KRS-One. It will be broadcast live from Barclays Center in NYC and will also feature a live audience.
